Event Rules

  2. Event Location:Partner Stores of 2025 Taoyuan Halloween City
  3. How to Participate:During the event period, complete the following steps to join the lucky draw:
    01. Download and register on the Taoyuan Citizen Card App.
    02. Visit any partner store participating in the Trick-or-Treat activities and scan the on-site QR code to collect one stamp.
    03. Each participant can collect up to 3 stamps per day, with a maximum total of 27 stamps throughout the event.
    04. After collecting stamps, go to the “Redeem” section in the app to exchange each stamp for 1 raffle ticket to join the lucky draw.
  4. Notes:
    01. Participation and identity verification are limited to users of the Taoyuan Citizen Card App.
    02. Eligibility for the lucky draw: Participants must be valid members and must correctly fill in their membership information, including full name, ID number, and mobile phone number. Incomplete, incorrect, or mismatched information will result in disqualification from the draw and prizes will be awarded to alternates without further notice.
    03. The organizer reserves the right of final interpretation and modification of this event.
  5. Prize Redemption Notice:
    According to the tax regulations of the Republic of China (Taiwan):Prizes valued over NT$1,000 must be declared as personal income.For prizes valued over NT$20,000, local winners must prepay 10% tax, and foreign winners must prepay 20% tax.Taxes are borne by the winners and must be paid in full before claiming the prize.

How to Receive Raffle Tickets
  1. Purchases at Designated Booths：
    01. Method: Spend a total of NT$200 at any booth marked with the “Cash Giveaway” logo to receive one raffle ticket.
    02. Location: Booths displaying the “Cash Giveaway” logo.
    03. Redemption Period: October 24 – November 2, 2025 (during the Halloween City event period).
  2. Taoyuan Reading Festival：
    01. Method: Present 30 Reading Points on the Taoyuan Public Library App at the service counter on the 2nd floor of the Main Library to receive one raffle ticket and one NT$10 discount coupon.
    02. Location: Service Counter, 2nd Floor, Taoyuan Public Library Main Building.
    03. Redemption Period: October 24 – November 2, 2025, during library service hours.
  3. Taoyuan Iron Rose Arts Festival：
    01. Method: Present proof of purchase (physical or electronic ticket) for the 2025 Taoyuan Iron Rose Arts Festival at the Taoyuan Halloween City Information Desk to receive one raffle ticket and one NT$10 discount coupon.
    02. Location: Information Desk, Taoyuan Halloween City.
    03. Redemption Period: October 24 – November 2, 2025 (during the event period).
  4. Raffle Instructions：
    01. Participants must fill in complete personal information (name, phone number, etc.) on the raffle ticket and place it into the draw box before the designated time. Late submissions will not be accepted.
    02. Draws will begin at 8:55 PM on weekdays and 9:25 PM on weekends (subject to on-site adjustments).
    03. Winners will be announced on-site immediately and published on the official website.Winners must bring their raffle stub and ID to the Information Desk at Taoyuan Arts Plaza to claim their prize within the event period.Prizes unclaimed by the end of the event on November 2 will be donated to social welfare and charity organizations, with results announced online.
    04. Winners must keep their raffle stub safe. Lost stubs cannot be reissued, and unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
  5. Discount Coupon Usage：
    Coupons can be used during the Halloween City event period at Themed Specialty Shops located in Arts Plaza and Greenway Zone.Each product may be discounted with one coupon only.
  6. Notes：
    01. There is no limit on the number of raffle tickets submitted per person per day. However, the same person may only win one prize of each type per day. Unselected tickets will be voided after the draw.
    02. Winners must present the raffle ticket stub for verification. If the information is incorrect or incomplete, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify the winner.
    03. Cash prizes are subject to income tax reporting according to local tax regulations.
    04. In case of force majeure, the organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the event. The official announcements on-site or on the website shall prevail.
    05. Participation in this event implies acceptance of all related terms and conditions.
  7. Prize and Tax Regulations：
    01. According to the Income Tax Act of the Republic of China (Taiwan), prizes valued over NT$1,000 must be included in the recipient’s annual personal income declaration.
    02. For winners who are non-residents of Taiwan (including local citizens residing fewer than 183 days per year and foreign nationals), a 20% withholding tax will apply to the cash prize.
    03. Winners must complete and submit the required documents before receiving their prizes. Failure to comply will result in automatic disqualification.
